The Conference venue is the National Center for Scientific Research (NCSR) “Demokritos”.

The NCSR Demokritos is situated at the foot of mountain Hymettus, at the limits of the Municipality of Aghia Paraskevi, 12 km north of Athens. Its address is Gregoriou & Neapoleos Street, Aghia Paraskevi Attikis, PO Box 60228, Greece 15310.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO SYNTAGMA SQUARE - ATHENS DOWNTOWN
El. Venizelos International Airport of Athens is located about 30 km from the city center.
All means of transportation are located at the Arrivals Level, with the exception of the train/metro, the entrance of which is at the Departures Level opposite to entrances 1 and 2.

A. By taxi
The airport is accessible by taxi on a 24-hour basis. Passengers leaving the airport, make use of the taxi queue next to Door 3 of the Arrivals Level. The duration is approximately 45 minutes depending on the traffic.

Receipt: According to the Greek Legislation, taxi drivers should provide upon request a receipt for the amount paid for transportation services. The receipt should also indicate the taxi registration number and the driver's name.

B. By bus
Take line X95 Syntagma - Athens Airport Express. All Express Buses disembark their passengers at the Departures Level and they depart from the designated area located at the Arrivals Level between Doors 4-5. Tickets for the bus are sold at the designated area at the OASA blue-white kiosk. You can also buy ticket from all metro stations, public transport ticket kiosks, and from the bus driver (the latter is possible only for the line starting from the airport). 

Operating hours: 24 hour basis.
Itineraries: every 15'

HOW TO GET FROM SYNTAGMA SQUARE TO NCSR “DEMOKRITOS”

A. By metro and bus
Take the metro line 3 (direction to Airport) from the “Syntagma” station. The destination is station “Nomismatokopio” (exit: Kondylaki St.). Take the bus line "406" or "407" or “B5” towards Aghia Paraskevi from the bus station which is next to the metro station. Get off at station “4th Aghias Paraskevis” and you are just a few meters from the entrance of the NCSR Demokritos.  
Duration: approximately 30 minutes 

B. By taxi.
The duration is approximately 40 minutes depending on the traffic.
